The promotion is sponsored by Community Focus Federal Credit Union, 18925 Telegraph Road, Brownstown, MI 48174, 734.281.3900 and also has a branch 3815 West Jefferson Ave, Ecorse, MI. Community Focus FCU membership is now open to persons who live, work, regularly conduct business in, worship, attend school in, or businesses in certain areas of Allen Park, Brownstown Township, Ecorse, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Huron Township, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, River Rouge, Riverview, Rockwood, Romulus, Southgate, Taylor, Trenton, Woodhaven, Wyandotte. Federally Insured by NCUA.

Each winner will be asked to sign a waiver and release for announcement of the winner and such names and/or photos may be used on Community Focus FCU’s promotional materials, e.g., websites, printed materials, branch posters, social media (examples presented here are not inclusive of all forms of Publicity).

ELIGIBILITY:

1. To be eligible to participate in this promotion, entrants must be at least 18 years of age or older.

2. Employees, Board Members, Supervisory Committee Members or contractors for Community Focus FCU and any member of their household or any immediate family members, are not eligible.

3. One (1) entry per post on eligible social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram), per person, that satisfies criteria for entry. “Person” is defined as an individual. Several persons from the same family or household may enter.

HOW TO ENTER / HOW TO WIN:

No purchase or consideration is necessary to enter.

Entries are accepted by tagging Community Focus FCU and using the hashtag #cffcugrandreopening on Facebook or Instagram. The drawing will be held on April 14, 2025.

On April 14, 2025 Community Focus FCU will draw one (1) winner of $100 VISA Gift Card for those who have met the entry deadlines and eligibilities rules.

One winner will be randomly drawn from among all the eligible entries received. The drawing will occur on April 14, 2025 at Community Focus FCU’s Main Office in Brownstown. Winner(s) will be notified on social media. Winner(s) will be notified within a reasonable amount of time from the drawing on or after the date of April 14, 2025. The winner’s name may also be announced on Community Focus FCU’s website, www.communityfocusfcu.org, and social media, for a reasonable period of time beginning on, or after April 14, 2025. To request a copy of the winners list, send a self-addressed and stamped (where applicable and allowable by law.) envelope to:

The winner has 10 days from the date of the first attempt to contact by Community Focus FCU to accept the Grand Opening Selfie (“Promotion”) prize after which point the winner will forfeit the $100 VISA gift card and a new winner will be drawn. Winners will be expected to pick up their prize, or authorize a designee who’s 18 years old or older, at a Community Focus FCU branch. We apologize but prizes will not be shipped to winners.

In the event of a reasonable question regarding a winner’s identity, a new winner will be drawn. Any suspicion of fraud or evidence of fraudulent entries into the sweepstakes will negate such entry for the <enter name of promotion/event/prize drawing> and a new winner will be drawn. Entrants must use their own address and be the owner of any email addresses used to enter.

THE GIVEAWAY PRIZE

1. $100 VISA gift card shall be given to one winner.

2. The odds of winning are contingent on the number of registrations and entrants.

3. Any taxes, fees, costs, future maintenance and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of this prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

4. The prize value cannot / will not be exchanged or redeemed for cash or any other banking services.

1. All personal information collected from registration entries are protected by “Community Focus FCU” privacy policy. No data or information will be shared outside of our company. 2. Community Focus Federal Credit Union reserve the rights to amend these rules and / or the promotion at any time during the duration of the promotion. We reserve the right to cancel the promotion at any time. Community Focus Federal Credit Union reserves the right to extend or shorten the deadlines to register for the drawing of the give-a-way.

3. This promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void in the states / countries where prohibited.

4. Any disputes in connection with this promotion will be resolved in the appropriate courts in Brownstown, Wayne County, Michigan exclusively, and subject to the laws of Michigan.

5. Entry into this giveaway / promotion constitutes acceptance of, and agreement by participants to abide by these Office Rules and, if a winner, the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability / Publicity Release.

If any term, condition or provision in these Official Rules is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the parties shall endeavor in good faith to agree to such amendments that will preserver, as far as possible, the intentions expressed in these Official Rules. If the parties fail to agree on such an amendment, such invalid term, condition or provision will be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions, which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
