Online Banking Enhanced Security

At Community Focus FCU, our goal is to ensure the security and integrity of your account information. Starting August 22, 2024, we will implement an additional layer of security called SecureNow in our multi-factor authentication (MFA) online banking platform to enhance your information's safety.

Multi-factor authentication (also known as two-factor authentication or 2FA) is a common practice that prompts the user to enter a security code sent to their phone or email to gain access. You may already be familiar with it if you have online accounts with merchants or other institutions.

Here's what to expect when you log in to your CFFCU Online Banking on August 22, 2024:

•    You will be prompted to reset your security questions
•    Select a delivery method for your secure verification code (via phone call or text message)
•    Enter the verification code provided via phone call or text message

After this initial MFA setup, you may be prompted to re-authenticate upon subsequent online banking logins.

Please ensure your home phone number and mobile phone number are up-to-date in our system.
